Crowned to Inspire & Arise – Issue#6
A Holy Encounter: Called and Crowned
Scripture:
"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'"
—Isaiah 6:8 (NIV)
Reflection
There are moments in life when the ordinary is pierced by the extraordinary—when heaven kisses earth, and we find ourselves trembling at the glory of God.
Isaiah stood in the temple, overwhelmed by a vision: the Lord high and exalted, the train of His robe filling the temple, seraphim crying, “Holy, holy, holy!” In that moment, Isaiah saw his unworthiness—“Woe is me!”—but also the cleansing power of God’s grace as a live coal touched his lips.
Often I do not stop long enough to listen and hear the direction of the Lord. As Queens, we should always take time to have those sacred moments so we can continue to operate fully in our passion for HIS purpose and be willing to go out—even when we know we may not always see the success. Be obedient anyway. This is why I sing, and how I know joy truly comes in the morning.
It was there, humbled yet healed, that Isaiah heard the call: “Whom shall I send?”
And with a heart made pure and a spirit made willing, he answered, “Here am I; send me.”
We, too, are called. Called to love boldly. To serve faithfully. To carry light into places heavy with darkness. And just like Isaiah, we don’t go because we are perfect—we go because we are willing, because God purifies, equips, and crowns those He calls.
Crowned Moment
Pause and imagine yourself in Isaiah’s shoes. What might God be calling you to do in this season? Perhaps it’s to encourage a friend, to forgive someone, to start a ministry, or to simply spend more time with Him.
When you hear His voice, may your heart echo Isaiah’s: “Here am I. Send me.”
Prayer
Lord, open my eyes to Your glory. Cleanse me of all that holds me back from fully surrendering to Your call. Give me the courage to say, ‘Here am I; send me,’ and the faith to follow wherever You lead. Amen.
