The Healing By: A.I.R. Jonita Saint-Leger

The day after shone with new radiance.  Despite the downpour outside her window and the drip from her four year old roof - "damn charlatans" she mumbled - she felt the warmth of the night before. The relaxed lines around his smile were burned on her retinas.  The way he followed her fingers with his own as she studied his.  Did their hands tell of a matched past,  known pain and future dreams?  He knew everything about her in just the simple hold of her hand.  He massaged the tips of her fingers as a tender gesture, unaware of the surge of passion it would produce.  It caught him off guard.  He was no stranger to women and was well aware of his effect on them, but he wasn't trying.  He was sensing, feeling and sharing, and it reached deep into his soul and unlocked a feeling he thought was gone with the innocence of his youth.  She felt found.  She was being seen after a long absence of seeing herself.  She was being felt and appreciated and it reached her deep and released an unconscious pain that had been stuffed far deep inside her womanhood.
