Welcome A.I.R. Charmaine Gumbs to the Team

Charmaine Gumbs, a proud mother and grandmother, was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix USVI. She is a medical assistant, certified surgical technician, author, and poet. Her new journey involves being in a relationship with the Most High. She enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, dancing, and serving the most high.

“DEFINING MOMENTS” was born because I needed an outlet for my frustrations, my thoughts and my feelings. It actually was more like a journal written in poetry form and then it evolved from there. I came up with the name “DEFINING MOMENTS” because majority of the poems are life based either mines or someone I know or from a movie basically JUST LIFE in itself as it is … no sugar coating just life in its rawest existence. I hope that everyone that comes across “DEFINING MOMENTS” appreciates and love the contents and meaning of the poems as much as I enjoyed writing them.
